Enquiries & Contacting History Centre

In general we prefer that you raise your query by using the Guestbook. Click here for details. Members of the BAHS and the general public may then be able to respond to your enquiry.

Before contacting the Society with an enquiry of a research or historical nature the Society requests that you first check to see if there is any information on the website that may be of assistance. This may be done using the search bar at the bottom of most web pages including this one. Alternatively the Google Advanced search facility may be more effective. Click here on how to use either search approach.

The EDP website has an interesting article on being a photograph detective. Click here for details (it will open in a separate tab or window).

If you have photographs or postcards which you would like information on or help in identifying people the people in them you might wish to the use the Facebook groups for ‘Old Blakeney’ and ‘A Photographic History of Cley next the sea.’ (these are their actual group names). The members of these groups are very interested in photos and also seem to have a number of members who may be able to put names to faces.
